Terms of Service

Welcome to TaskCove. These Terms govern your use of TaskCove (the "Service") provided by CoveloTech LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using TaskCove, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TaskCove. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.
• You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You may delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete account and all data.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• TaskCove is offered with a free tier (TaskCove Free) and a paid subscription tier (TaskCove Pro).
• Pro subscriptions are processed via Stripe on this website. Pricing is displayed at checkout.
• Pro is billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. You can cancel anytime; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact us if you have a billing concern.
• We do NOT offer in-app purchases through Apple's StoreKit. All Pro subscriptions are managed on this website.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TaskCove to store sensitive personal data the Service is not designed for (passports, government IDs, medical records, banking credentials — see our Privacy Policy).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code beyond what is permitted by law.
• Use TaskCove to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, or harm others.
• Attempt to overwhelm our servers, abuse rate limits, or interfere with other users.

5. Intellectual property

• The TaskCove name, logo, app, website, and code are owned by CoveloTech LLC.
• Your data — tasks, assets, photos, notes — remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service.

6. AI-powered features

Pro features use third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini). When you use these features, the relevant text or image is sent to those providers per our Privacy Policy. We do not control how those providers train or operate their models. We do not guarantee accuracy of AI outputs — review them before acting on them.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

TaskCove is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoveloTech LLC and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of TaskCove. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms others. On termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY], [STATE].

12. Changes

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be flagged in the iOS app at next sign-in. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
